The DWTS Season 34 finale kept fans on the edge of their seats with stunning performances, exciting surprises, and a thrilling conclusion that celebrated the talent and hard work demonstrated by all the dancers this season. The finalists were put up to the test performing three dances, a Judge’s Choice, an Instant Dance, and their signature Freestyle routine. The five finalists for Dancing with the Stars Season 34 were Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron, and Elaine Hendrix.

Winner: Robert Irwin and Witney Carson
Runner-up: Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy
Third place: Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa
Fourth place: Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach
Fifth place: Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten

I believe it was a great group of couples for the finale this year. A lot of viewers were happy about Robert Irwin winning and others were not. I asked some students here at Wayne Hills about what they thought of the finale and who they were rooting for.

Sophomore Chloe Roseman said, “I’m really happy with the results because I think Robert and Whitney deserved it. They worked so hard. I was rooting for Robert through the series.”

Sophomore Gabby Lombardo said, “I was rooting for Robert Irwin and I think that the results were fair based off of everyone’s performances this season.”

Sophomore Martina Minervini said “I was upset about the finale because I thought Alix was going to win and I was rooting for Alix.”

I feel like I also agree with Martina, in the beginning I did favor Robert over Alix and as the season went on I felt like Alix was doing better than Robert. I feel like Alix kept improving each week, and it was clear she was putting in a lot of effort. She stayed consistent, worked hard, and really grew throughout the competition. By the end, I honestly felt like she was performing better than Robert. What do you think about the season 34 finale of dancing with the stars?
