Presidents Day is almost here, so why not talk about presidents! Let’s ask the Wayne Hills students and staff who love history about the favorite presidents. Throughout 234 years after the revolutionary war, and over 46 presidents everyone must have a favorite. 

Through all the students and staff at Wayne Hills everyone’s answer for their favorite president is completely different, everyone has their own opinion. But with wikipedia it shows the rankings of the presidents, and how the public feels about each and everyone of the presidents. 

Wikipedia rankings show Abraham Lincoln has taken the highest ranking in the survey. It states, 

“Abraham Lincoln is mostly regarded as the greatest president for his leadership during the Civil War and the abolition of slavery.” (wikipedia historical rankings of presidents in the United States) 

Even though online most people agree that Abe is the best president out there. At Wayne Hills some people agree and disagree with this.

Jack Monisera and Julia Sandler which are two juniors from Wayne Hills both agree with the handsome John Fitzgerald Kennedy with being there favorite president. Jack and Julia both said there favorite president is JFK because of how he was a very big fan of peace. Before JFK passed he was not planning on going to war with Vietnam. Many people love JFK because of how smart he was, but a lot of others like JFK because many people find him attractive. 

Jadyn Nisenson said, “My favorite president would have to be JFK because of how attractive he is.” 

Another opinion for a favorite president was Teddy Roosevelt, The Wayne Hills TV production teacher Mr. Hoogstrate stated, “My favorite president of the United States is Teddy Roosevelt because he built the national park system.

Through all these opinions we had to save the best for last, my favorite president. My favorite president would definitely have to be Franklin D. Roosevelt, (FDR) because of how he helped our society in such a terrible time. He also served the longest term as president which was 4,422 days.

Throughout WHHS you will find so many people with very different opinions. Everyone can have a favorite president no matter who it is.
