Snow has filled the state of New Jersey and the town of Wayne with an immense amount of snow—the most snow the state has received since 2021!
The snow extravaganza started on November 11 when we received snow flurries, but the real snow arrived on December 14 with 8.5 inches of snow. As if that wasn’t already enough snow, the state of New Jersey experienced snowfall from January 17-18.
The United States experienced their biggest snowfall on January 25, 2026. The storm affected up to 20 states and snowed many people into their homes, causing distress and worry around the state. Some states with the highest numbers of snow were New Mexico—31 inches, Pennsylvania and West Virginia—23 inches, New York—20 inches, and New Jersey—15-16 inches.
Kynsie Pistone says, “I feel like it has been the coldest winter ever. Every day it is freezing cold and the wind is crazy. We have snow basically every weekend and I want summer back, I am tired of the snow.”
Addison Pistone says, “I am extremely tired of the snow. I already don’t like the snow but the amount we’ve had is awful. The snow gets in the way of me completing my daily tasks and I’m looking forward to it all melting.”
Articles say that New Jersey is expecting a warmer-than-average spring this 2026 season.
