Zootopia 2 was officially released in theaters on November 26, 2025, and it is already turning heads. Not only are there new parts of the city, Zootopia, featured, but there are also brand-new villains. In this movie, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde explore something that no one is expecting to see. There are no spoilers here, but to give insight: this movie features a snake!

The original Zootopia followed Judy Hopps, a bunny who becomes the first-ever rabbit police officer assigned to solve a missing otter case. Along the way, she teams up with Nick Wilde, a sly fox who becomes her unexpected partner.

So, what is different about Zootopia 2? Not only will there be new characters featured, but also a completely different story arc featuring a hidden secret that changes everything Judy and Nick thought they knew about Zootopia. The plot also involves reptiles, who have been outcasted due to… well, you have to watch that part yourself.

I also recommend watching the cut scene—there are hints about what the next movie will be about! Additionally, sophomore Deniz Durgut has said, “I haven’t watched Zootopia 2, but if Judy and Nick do not end up together, I will be extremely disappointed.”
