Currently there is New Crumbl Cookies and District Taco stores opening in Wayne. Both stores are opening near Alps road and Hamburg Turnpike across from the Exxon gas station.

Crumbl Cookies is a popular confectionery store that’s popular for their wide variety of cookies.

The company’s first ever store is located in  Utah and was founded in 2017. Since its opening 7 years ago, it now has more than 800 bakeries in all 50 states. In 2023, It expanded its brand internationally, opening stores in Canada.

According to Crumblcookies.com. Their most popular cookie is the Semi Sweet Chocolate Chunk cookie. However their menu changes every week.

District Taco is a Yucatan style Mexican Restaurant that primarily specializes in tacos.

The company was started by a Mexican Immigrant named Osiris Hoil, who immigrated in 2007 to the United states with the goal of becoming an entrepreneur.

In 2009, Osiris and his neighbor Marc Wallace got together over homemade chips, salsa, guacamole.

They then together decided to launch the District Taco food cart in Rosslyn. After nearly a decade, District Taco opened many restaurants across Washington. D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Seif Qatarneh, A sophomore at Wayne Hills High School said that “Crumbl cookies are too sweet”. He also added that he “Wouldn’t buy it again.” Seif also said that “I don’t mind the new locations  of both restaurants that opened in Wayne”.
