Have you ever seen a guy walking around in a quarter zip while drinking matcha in the morning? Quarter zips quickly became extremely popular among teenagers, due to a recent TikTok trend. Many boys in high schools almost instantly hopped on the trend they saw all of their favorite influencers talking about. TikTok, along with other social media platforms, is often responsible for fashion trends as they grow in popularity. 

Speaking of TikTok influencing outfit choices among teens, low-rise pants made a monumental comeback in 2025. The once considered outdated trend of wearing low-rise pants returned after being worn by many popular influencers and celebrities across social media. Teens began pairing low-rise jeans with both tank tops and oversized hoodies as the trend gained popularity. As low-rise pieces have now become a staple in every teen girl’s closet, we can expect this specific trend to last a while among teenagers. 

Another major trend that stayed throughout the entire year was adidas sneakers. After making their comeback earlier in the year, the popular shoe brand remains in the closets of many teenagers. Whether it’s the Adidas Sambas, Gazelles, Campuses, or another style, every teen seems to have a pair of Adidas sneakers on almost every day. 

Sophomore Riley Johnson mentions, “I love my Adidas sneakers. They just make my entire outfit look so much better whenever I wear them.” 

As we know, trends come and go as styles change and evolve. These were just a few of the major fashion trends that stuck out throughout the year 2025. Now the real question is, will any of these trends last into 2026?
