After a year of Canvas chaos, Google Classroom has finally made a return! The students are thrilled with this news. After last year’s struggles with uploading assignments, finding assignments, and teachers complaining, there has finally been a change. Here are what some students think about this exciting new change that has finally reached Wayne Hills.
Sophomore Jane Hughes is very excited about this return. Jane thinks, “It’s a lot easier to know what assignments I have to do and easier to attach my work.”
Sophomore Sam Dubanowitz expresses her joy at the new return. Sam likes that “Google Classroom is back because we have used it all throughout elementary/middle school. It’s familiar to navigate.”
The change from Canvas back to Google Classroom was only in the high schools. The elementary schools and middle schools did not have to experience this change. After hearing his sister’s complaints about Canvas last year, 8th grader Caden Roseman said, “Chloe would always complain about how Canvas was difficult to use and navigate.”
Overall, students are happy about the change and that Canvas is no longer going to be used. The struggle for all teachers and students is now gone, and everyone is back with their beloved Google Classroom.
