Schedules aren’t easy to form for anyone, especially anybody who works or learns at a high school.
At Wayne Hills High School, we have a variety of students who are involved in different activities, sports, Band, Clubs, Student Council and so much more. As well as the teachers, who have kids to take care of, teeth to brush, and lives outside of the classroom.
This week, we interviewed both teachers and students about their daily routine, including when they wake up in the morning to laying their head down at night. The athlete to the performing arts student.
As most people know, waking up for school can be hard, but what do people at Wayne Hills High School do before they walk in at 7:20? For some teachers like Mrs. Grimes, she has to pack a lunch for the whole family, including her husband, which is insane because he is a grown man. She is up and out quickly after waking up, not much time lingering around.

Then for a student their morning is a little different. According to a sophomore, Siah Franklin, his routine is strictly personal. He wakes up, showers, brushes his teeth, washes his face, wets his hair, picks out his outfit, then lotions up, and gets on his way.
Now we will look into the lives of these people but instead of looking into their mornings we will be looking into their evenings. How people unwind after a long stressful day. Let’s look into the nightly routine of Mrs. Grimes who is a mother of two, Mia and KJ. Mrs. Grimes’ two kids, have bath time at 6:45. Which of course she takes care of as the loving mother she is. Then she watches movies with KJ, such as the movie Boss Baby. During the movie, they will fall asleep and be in bed before 9.

A student named Andrew Lynch, grade 12, ends his day quite differently. This baseball star ends his day with a lovely shower. Followed by two bottles of water, and truffle almonds as a before bed snack. Then falls asleep while watching tiktok in bed.
