End of the school year, normally a happy time. Yet when leaving all the best memories you have and connections you have made, some begin to feel sad. Freshman year had many ups and downs, and getting to know the school was tricky at times, but all the good times overcame anything negative. Whether you found fun in sports, technology, clubs, or even school itself, everyone found a place to fit in. Many freshmen could share their views on the first year of high school, but let’s look at one in particular.
Freshman Mia Spano shared her thoughts on her freshman year. “I think that freshman year went by extremely fast due to how many events are held and how many clubs people can join. While freshman year has its ups and downs, some being the big transition from middle school to high school, it was an overall good year with good memories.”
Getting a first-hand opinion can show how it really was, and as Mia said, many challenges were put in our way, but joining things and finding a place to fit into this school helps it go by quickly, and get ready for summer. Freshman year prepares you for what’s to come, and I would say almost everyone has a place to come back to next year and have the best time. Trying out new classes and adjusting to the new environment can be hard, but in the end, it proved to be only good for every freshman and gave them a new life to look forward to in the upcoming years. This year was filled with fun, memories, excitement, new things, and many challenges, but every minute was worth it.
Even though leaving means leaving memories, sometimes it’s good to just look back at all the good times you had and look forward to many more. Us freshmen have 3 more years ahead of us, and it’s time to get settled for next year and come back better than ever, ready for new challenges, achievements, and many, many more memories.
