As the air gets colder and the leaves change to orange, the items in the closets of Wayne Hills High School students begin to include the trending fall fashion items.

Chilly weather calls for fuzzy boots and cozy sweaters, but is that what the students of Wayne Hills are wearing? Trends change constantly which calls for a new wardrobe for every season. While school starts very early in the morning, that doesn’t stop the students of Wayne Hills from dressing to impress. As temperatures drop, shorts and tank tops go back into storage and now students share their ideas for fall fashion in 2023.

Brands are currently changing their stock to fit a more cozy and warm aesthetic that fits what teens these days want to buy. Junior Deanna Asmar shared, “I want more sweaters. Specifically off-the-shoulder sweaters because they look super cute.” However, sweaters can’t be the only thing trending this fall season. Lexi Bonczek, a junior, talks about trending jewelry as she said, “Recently I saw somebody wearing the new gold Kendra Scott pumpkin necklace and I thought it was really cute for fall.” The combination of cozy sweaters and warm jewelry is definitely perfect for this fall.

Yet the changing weather shouldn’t cause for a completely new wardrobe. Junior Alise Pauksena shared recurring staples in her fall wardrobe, “For me, I love a basic long-sleeve shirt because they go with everything. I love styling them with different clothing.” Shirts can be cute by themselves, but pairing them with the right pants can make the outfit even better. Rebecca Suiffe, a junior, shared a staple in her closet, “wide-leg pants. I feel like they look cute and comfy so it’s a perfect mix.” Expect to see the students of Wayne Hills in outfits with the perfect combination of cozy and aesthetic this fall.

While the girls of Wayne Hills are definitely ready for the fall season, what are the boys at Wayne Hills wearing? Senior Anzor Mustafa let other male students know that “Stüssy sweatshirts are on my wishlist. They are really cool and I like their aesthetic.” He further explained that “Birkenstocks are a staple for my fall outfits. They go with everything and are easy to slip on.” Masculine fashion trends are definitely something to look forward to this fall!

Wayne Hills students seem to have a great idea of what they are wearing this fall season, but who inspired these looks? Now that social media has such a huge impact on teens, celebrities have definitely influenced Wayne Hills students. Junior Lexi Bonczek also said, “I love Kendall Jenner’s fall wardrobe. Last season, she had cool clothes for fall so hopefully this season I get some good outfit inspo.” Models have definitely influenced fall fashion with their stunning streetwear looks. When asked about who influenced her fall wardrobe, Deanna Asmar, a junior, said, “Definitely Bella Hadid. I think her style is very unique.”

It is safe to say that Wayne Hills students are prepared for fall fashion. Although most people are getting style inspiration from Pinterest or New York Fashion Week, this fall season you can definitely turn to the students of Wayne Hills for fashion advice. If you want to stay on trend this fall, get your sweaters and wide-leg pants before the students of Wayne Hills beat you to it!
