It is the New Year and the NFL playoffs are just about to begin. Eight teams are ready to compete in the games they have been looking forward to the entire season, The Super Bowl.

The first round of the playoffs, also known as the Wild Card round, includes the following games:

Seattle Seahawks vs San Francisco 49ers (1/14)

Los Angeles Chargers vs Jacksonville Jaguars (1/14)

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills (1/15)

New York Giants vs Minnesota Vikings (1/15)

Baltimore Ravens vs Cinncinati Bengals (1/15)

Dallas Cowboys vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1/16)

The Philidelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are the teams with the #1 record in their separate conferences, have already advanced to the next round.

This will most definitely be an amazing year for the NFL playoffs with many spectacular teams involved. The Seahawks barely clinching a spot, the Giants proving many doubters wrong, the Eagles looking to continue their perfect season, and Patrick Mahomes searching for his second Super Bowl win.

Sophomore Tanner Gaccione had two very bold takes for this year’s NFL playoffs. He said, “The buccaneers will somehow win the Super Bowl this year and the Giants will make it out of the first round.”

At the end of the rounds, the Super Bowl will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12th, at 6:30 pm.
