Crumbl Cookie is a place that people either love or hate. For the ones who love it, last week’s flavors were truly delicious. Coming off of that, there were high expectations for this week’s flavors. To be completely honest, these expectations weren’t met, but the flavors were not entirely disappointing.
The flavors for the week of September 23-28th were milk chocolate chip, confetti cake, birthday cake w/ Oreo, peanut butter w/ Snickers, caramel shortbread w/ Twix, and a pink sugar cookie.
The only flavors that I tried were the confetti cake, birthday cake, caramel shortbread, and the pink sugar cookie. Out of those four, the birthday cake with Oreo was my favorite. It had a great chocolate cookie taste with good vanilla frosting on top. I would probably rate that one a 9/10.
Second, I liked the confetti cake a lot as well. It wasn’t super special because it tasted like a normal cake, but I would still give it an 8.5/10.
The caramel shortbread was pretty interesting. I liked how it almost had caramel inside the cookie, it made the texture very nice, but it wasn’t super amazing. It had good sweetness and consistency, but I’d rate it a 7.5/10.
Lastly, the most disappointing cookie (not to my surprise) was the pink sugar cookie. I thought it was plain boring and had a sub-par taste. I would rate it a simple 5/10.
Senior Luna Han tried the cookies and had to say this about the peanut butter cookie: “I wasn’t a huge fan of this cookie because it was way too sweet. But, it kind of tasted like a Reese’s Pieces. But me personally I’m not a huge peanut butter fan.”
The Crumbl flavors of this week were certainly not a letdown, but they also did not meet the same hype as the ones of the week before. If you are a fan of savory and cake-like desserts, I would most definitely recommend you go out to Crumbl and try these flavors before they are gone on Monday, the 30th.
