By Victoria Balduzzi and Bella Ishak

P.F. Chang’s, a restaurant that serves Asian and Chinese cuisine, officially opened its doors at the Willowbrook mall at 5 pm on Monday, January 21.

Other locations include Hackensack and Riverdale, and the Willowbrook P.F. Chang’s location is the first in the Passaic County area.

The opening included many servings of hot soup for the guests coming in the brutally cold temperatures. They have been working nonstop since the beginning of December and have had many training days.

“I think that it will do very well, because there are none around here, and its a new place for the community to try,” said senior Morgan Ritesma.

The opening of this new business is one of the many that are opening at Willowbrook Mall. Dave and Busters opened in early 2018.

Willowbrook Mall has been making many renovations and opening up tons of new stores. They hope to please everyone and provide a wider variety of entertainment for the community.

The new 12 – screen Cinemark movie theater, replacing the Sears auto center, is in the building process and is expected to open before 2020.

“I think I would have liked a more relevant place such as Buffalo Wild Wings, I think that I would go there more,” said senior Amanda Rossi.
