WHHS Offers New Photo Class

By Katherine Kim

In the 2016-2017 school year, students who have already taken Photography I and II will be given the opportunity to take Photography III with Pamela Clark. This new course will allow students to advance their skills and knowledge in the world of photography. There has never been such a  high demand for a more advanced photography class in WHHS history; Clark has inspired and stimulated her students to fall in love with taking photos.

“I’m really looking forward to spending another year with  Clark and learning a lot of new stuff. Hopefully the curriculum will be geared towards people going into the photography field like myself,” said junior and photographer, Jaime Huynh.

According to the WHHS Program of Studies, Photography III will emphasize commercial photography and studio lighting. This course will encourage students to think critically and creatively to capture images representing a variety of challenging subjects and visual concepts.

Many high schools do not have photography courses pass Photography I, so those who have taken Photography II should take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Photography III will be a lesson-packed and educational course, however it will also be a fun one!
