An amazing new business recently popped up in Wayne, it’s called the Sweet Ice Queen Truck. Wayne resident, Lisa Emeric has begun driving around in a pink ice cream truck from which she sells not only ice cream, but also has a full candy buffet. In addition she separates herself from other trucks by not only doing it for money, but she wants to brighten special needs kids’ lives. “I have been very blessed to be able to start this business, and it’s important to me to give back to the community,” Emeric said. “If a visit from the Sweet Ice Queen Truck can brighten the day of a child who is suffering or struggling, that is what will truly make this new venture a success.” She cares more about the children who she cheers up instead of the money she makes with the truck. “This is one of those stories you hear about that puts a smile on your face. It is truly great to see someone brightening others lives,” said Junior Noah Choe. Hopefully this story puts a smile on everyone’s faces in addition to the special needs kids.
