Now that 2022 is coming to a close, people are looking back on the year that seems to have gone by so fast. Among the platforms with results of what has happened this past year like Spotify and Snapchat, the streaming platform Netflix also has a great mix of shows that were significantly viewed in 2022.

If you want to watch something new that hasn’t already been listed here are some of my personal recommendations are:

Warrior Nun: Although this show has some religion in it, the concept of the show is something different; revolving around a girl named Ava who is brought into a world of undercover tactical nuns that work for the Catholic Church. The show has recently been canceled by Netflix after having a good eight-episode season 2 that was released on November 10, 2022.

Rise of Empires: Ottoman: If you’re a history buff like me that also likes to see action, this series is for you. There are so far two seasons, the first season revolves around when Sultan Mehmed II ascended to the throne and conquered the then 1,100-year-old city of Constantinople- now known as Istanbul. Season 2 comes out on December 29 and tells the tale of his fight against Vlad the Impaler.

Business Proposal: Yes, a K-Drama. The light-hearted romance mixed with comedy and a web-comic-like plot is a very interesting watch. The actress who plays the main protagonist of Ha-ri is played by a KPOP idol named Kim Se-jong, a girl who gets herself into a lot of trouble with her boss and ends up having the weirdest adventures.
