The 11th annual Wayne Hills Culinary Competition took place on April 25, 2019, in the Wayne Hills Gifford Gym from 5:30 to 7:30, with visitors only having to pay a seven dollar admission fee for unlimited food choices.

Sophomore Wayne Hills student Sonia Reyes, who was part of the Disney Delights team, said “Although it was stressful at times, in the end, it was rewarding. I got closer with my teammates and I got a chance to improve my cooking skills. I was a little disappointed that I was not invited to go on the Asian team but it was still really fun and a nice memory.”

“We are so glad that we participated, it was an amazing experience. We attended as guests last year and we can definitely say that the food was better this year,” Lauren Gelber said.

The Muslim team got the fan favorite trophy while the Korean team got the best menu. The money that was collected was donated to The Consumer Science Scholarship.
