Unfortunately, current Wayne Hills students cannot stay here forever. Many of our seniors are continuing their athletic careers and have already committed to a variety of colleges.

Sebastian Rojek will soon be playing Division 1 soccer at Stony Brook University in New York.

“I’ve always dreamed of playing soccer in college. When I received an offer I was super excited and couldn’t believe it” he says. His secret to success is simply “working hard everyday and elevating my skills to become better.”

Mikayla Ruiz is another senior that recently committed for soccer. She chose to attend Kean University not only because of the academic and soccer program, but also because of the overall positive and safe environment of the campus. She looks forward to creating lifelong memories along with lifelong friends.

Though she makes it seem easy, the actual committal process was not that simple.

“The recruitment process was very overwhelming but all the hard work I’ve put into school and soccer paid off and I’m really glad Kean was the school to notice it”

Craig Wilkie is going to be playing lacrosse at Drew University.

”Playing lacrosse was always one of my favorite things to do, and to continue playing in college is a dream come true. I know I will continue training and become better in everything I choose to do, academically and athletically. All thanks to my family and coaches who have pushed me to exceed,” he says.

Star shortstop, Jason Sanfilippo, has also committed to play baseball at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania.

“I’m excited to continue the next chapter of my life,” he says.

Other seniors committed to colleges, including Bence Polgar to the University of Buffalo and Joe Rondi to Syracuse University, both for football, and Nick Panarin to Drew University for fencing.

We wish our seniors the best of luck in their future athletic careers and their many adventures to come.
