Take flight with Bert, Mary, Jane, Michael, and the rest of the Mary Poppins Cast! Remember what it felt like as a kid to a fly a kite and play in the park? Mary Poppins is a delightful show that will take you back to your childhood as you watch the Banks family pass through an array of nannies, living in fear that they will never find the perfect nanny.

Accompany the Banks family in a story of love and familial values that is sure to make your heart smile!

“I’m most excited for the fact that I get to fly, like how many kids get to say that they’ve flown on stage,” says sophomore, Nicole Lampariello, who plays Jane.

“I’m excited for the intricate dance numbers. We haven’t had dances this complex and visually pleasing in years, especially “Step in Time” it’s an awesome number,” says Joseph Fleissner, the music director. The students and teachers have been working extremely hard since the cast was determined for the show in the second week of December.

“I’m excited to be doing a Disney show again,”  says Sarah Getzke, who is the choreographer and special education teacher here at Hills.  “It will appeal to a younger generation that will inspire a new renewed love of theatre,” Getzke adds.

Cast Workers are busy behind the curtains too. Sophomore, Jenny Cavallo is working behind the scenes with the flying equipment, but if anyone asks, it’s all stage magic!

Pre-sale tickets are selling for $12, and the show first premieres is this Thursday at 7:00 pm. The next three shows are on Friday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 2 pm and 7  pm.
