Although The Global Citizen’s festival has passed, the need for action has not. The Global Citizen is a community of people of like you who want to take action for those who do not have the voice to do it themselves. These people aid in extreme poverty and inequality around the world, and make life better for those in need.

The Global Citizen’s Festival was held in none other than Central Park. World and business leaders came together to speak about various issues. Singers such as Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Pearl Jam performed at this massive event. There were approximately 60,000 attendees and some of which who are very influential human beings.

“I hope the festival spreads awareness about certain issues so that more people will take a stand,” said senior Kaitlyn Graf.

The need for justice is imperative for millions of people, and Global Citizens is willing to give all it’s got to help causes that need much more recognition than they’ve got.
