NYG: “It’s Getting Late Early for the Giants”

By Dan Abate

The New York Giants had gotten off to a rough start to their season. Coming into the 2015-2016 football season, the Giants had high expectations to be a very dominant team in the NFL. The team had built up a franchise revolving around their veteran quarterback Eli Manning and returning ‘Rookie of the Year,’ wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. The Giants are 0-2 again simply because Eli and the Big Blue cannot finish. The G-Men had blown the lead twice in the fourth quarter in the most crucial part of the game. The Giants standout running back had stated that “We’ve got to get back to doing things that we do well by doing them consistently and to do it for four quarters.”

There is no crying in football, however, nobody enjoys seeing the defeat of their favorite team. Starting off the year with a losing record, the Giants had stumbled out of the gate early in their season. Die-hard Giant fan Tyler Strasse stated after last week’s loss that “We Giant fans are very optimistic this year. Although we’re missing a few tough guys, it’s only a matter of time until the Big Blue jump back on top.” The team will struggle to continue this year after losing a few key impact players. Without the help of injured standouts Jason Pierre-Paul, Victor Cruz and Jon Beason, the New York Giants will continue to move forward into their season.
