Newspapers Fire Shots at Chris Christie

By Ritik Naik

Chris Christie has taken a lot of heat over the last week for endorsing front-runner Donald Trump to become the republican nominee. He has been called a hypocrite and a selfish person for endorsing Trump. This endorsement came off of the fact that before Christie dropped out, he stated that Trump isn’t fit for the presidency. A total of six newspapers have called for his resignation of office such as Asbury Park Press, Bridge Water Courier, Cherry Hill Courier, East Brunswick Home News Tribune, Vine land Daily Journal, and Morris Town Daily Record. Christie has been asked many times about endorsing Donald Trump and he hasn’t answered any of them. He has been accused or “putting the state of New Jersey second” as well as focusing more on his campaign and now, Donald Trump’s campaign.

Wayne Hills Freshman Galo Guerra said that not many people have been supporting the state’s governor lately. “Over the past two years people are realizing the true colors of him and how much he really cares for our state.” Christie has made many controversial decisions as of late and those choices are giving newspapers even more opportunities to bash Christie and his credibility.
