Thirsty and want to try something new? The Wayne Hills Class of 2023 is hosting a fundraiser at Gong Cha, a new boba restaurant in Wayne.

On Friday, March 17, stop by Gong Cha during lunch or after school for a quick pick-me-up. Be sure to mention your support for the Class of 2023 upon arrival.

30% of all sales at Gong Cha will be given back to the class, which will take away costs for Senior events including the senior trip to Dorney Park and the Senior Prom.

An employee at Gong Cha and avid boba lover, Senior Yara Shobut said, “People should go to Gong Cha because the drinks are unique to any beverage place in Wayne and are made with thought and care. I haven’t been to a place in Wayne with the variety of boba that Gong Cha does.” Yara recommends the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea and Milk Foam Strawberry Cookie Milk Tea.

Senior Trisha Vyas expressed, “I love going to Gong Cha with my friends at lunch. The Thai Tea Latte is one of the best I’ve ever had.”

Show some Hills’ spirit and support to a local business by stopping at Gong Cha on Friday to celebrate the weekend! For more information on fundraisers and events hosted by the Class of 2023, follow the Instagram @whhs_classof2023
