If you are looking for a new story to take over your Netflix page, Reign is the show for you. Knights, princesses, princes, love, murder, and more will captivate you into this medieval show. A cross between Sherlock and Jane the Virgin this middle age show will surely have you on the edge of your seat. 

Originally started by the CW, Netflix now has all four seasons. Taking place in 1557 Mary Queen of Scots goes to live in France where she is betrothed to the prince; Francis. Focused on the female power and how Mary takes back this power that men so easily take away from her, time and time again. This show takes creative liberties in many ways for one the dresses the main women wear are more like prom dresses than medieval royalty. When watching this show another thing to be wary about is that it deals with heavy topics, such as sexual assault.  

While Reign has some inconsistencies with the time period versus what they wear or think, it is overall binge-worthy. It keeps your attention with cliffhangers, cheesy romance, scandals, and heart-wrenching murder.
