The Washington Football Team dominated the Dallas Cowboys this past Thanksgiving weekend with a score of 41-16.

The star of the game for Washington was rookie RB Antonio Gibson who ran 115 yards for 3 touchdowns.

Washington’s defense looked impressive after only giving up 12 points, and holding Dallas’ star RB Ezekiel Elliot to only 32 yards and a fumble. Another star player for Washington was DE Montez Sweat who intercepted QB Andy Dalton and ran 15 yards for a touchdown.

“Washington is definitely a threat to win the NFC East, but I still think the Giants will end up winning the division, ” remarked Senior Jake Dillon.

With this big win for Washington and devastating loss for the Cowboys, Washington pulls ahead of the Eagles in the NFC East and is now tied with the Giants. However, with difficult games this week for both Washington and New York, it is still anyone’s game to clinch the division.
