Stress Ball Crafting on Wellness Wednesday

The Wayne Hills guidance department is planning a stress ball making event for Wellness Wednesday, March 13th in the school media center. The event will take place during students’ lunch periods.

Students will be using rice and balloons to create the stress balls. Ms. Venezia will be running this mindful craft activity.

Mindful crafting is an excellent way to reduce stress and allow students to be more aware of their surroundings.

“This activity is a good way for students to get away from schoolwork for a bit and focus their mind on this one task. I’m sure the result will end up erasing some stress from class,” says Alex Vallarta.

“I am very excited for this event because stress balls personally help me relieve stress a lot and making them sounds super fun,” expressed Junior Melis Yazar.

“I’ve never made stress balls but I do like them as they help make me less stressed,” commented Junior Britney Balevski.

The event should be an overall success since crafts like making stress balls are greatly helpful in reducing stress and anxiety.
