The Tenth Annual Culinary Competition is right around the corner, aiming to raise money towards a scholarship for Consumer Sciences.

Sponsored by Sodexo, this competition will be held from 5:30-7:30 in the Gifford Gym at Wayne Hills High School on April 25th.

Foods teacher, Robyn Hart commented, “It’s a great opportunity to showcase the culinary program here at Wayne Hills.”

47 students are participating this year in six different teams. The teams include Fantasy, City Street Food, Hispanic Cuisine, Bubbie’s Kosher Nosh, Mid West, and Asian.

“I wanted to join because I thought it would be a fun thing to do with my friends,” Terry Shim, a sophomore on the Asian team said, “It’s all of our first year so we’re excited to see what happens and hopefully win.”

Admission is $7, tickets sold at the door. All students, parents, and teachers should try to attend and support participating students while simultaneously enjoying a multitude of tasty dishes.
