FBLA State Sectionals

FBLA State Sectionals

By Sam Gallo

After long anticipation, the members of WHHS FBLA arrived in Atlantic City to participate in states on Thursday, February 18th. After arriving at the conference, the students attended the opening ceremony with students from schools from FBLA programs all across the state. From there the students listened to speakers talk about how to enter and become successful in the business world. In addition to learning new things from the seminars, the students were given the opportunity to vote for new leaders in NJ FBLA positions as well as socialize with peers who share the same interest in business as them. This aspect of the state conference particularly excited FBLA officer, junior Jacob Rantas. “States was a great experience,” claims Rantas. “I learned so much from all the speakers at the seminars and had a great time with my friends!” Overall, the students had an exciting two days in Atlantic city where they learned life long skills that will benefit them greatly on their journeys entering the business world.
