Unfortunate Cincinnati Shooting Occurs

People go to clubs looking to dance and make memories with friends, not to be a part of a shooting.

On Sunday, March 27th, Cameo Night Club in Cincinnati, Boston had a night to remember. Around one a.m., a shooting occurred, killing one and injuring 16. It is believed that a group was involved, not just one culprit. The shooting was not an act of terrorism, however, as there was a group dispute that started earlier that day. Out of the 16 injured, several people went to undergo surgery in addition to two who were in critical condition. The police has not released any names or witnesses at this point, but they do have their suspects.

In the aftermath, the community came together to discuss the issue. Citizens are frightened and deeply upset that a random shooting was able to affect so many people. This shooting not only scared these residents, but people across the nation.   “It’s scary how shootings like these randomly pop up. But you can’t be scared to go somewhere with this sitting in the back of your mind” said sophomore Angelica Papadatos.
