End of Softball Season

With the season now closed, the WHHS softball team gave it their all this year. They ended the season with a record of 8-14. The team won their last game against Paramus Catholic on May 14 at home. Vanessa Soto was 2-for-3 with a home run and six RBI, leading Wayne Hills to a 14-4 victory against Paramus Catholic. The team also won their game against Paterson Eastside on May 13 with an ending score of 18-1. “It is so sad to see all the seniors go, they have helped me so much through this season and we will miss them a lot,” said junior Alex Colonna. All players are sad to watch the seniors leave, but are pleased with all the hard work they put in and how this season turned out.
