Woman Steals Money From 8-Year-Old Fire Victim

Safyre’s house went up in flames in May 2013. The deadly fire had killed her father and her three siblings. The blaze has left Safyre without a right hand, a left foot, and over 75% of her body burned. Now Safyre is an eight-year-old girl who asked for Christmas cards this Christmas, and she received around 1 million cards.
With all of the gifts she  has received there is a lot of organizing to do, so a 41-year-old woman named Kimberly Bradford volunteered to help sort out and organize all of the holiday cards. It all seemed to be a good deed until authorities reveal that Bradford had been stealing from fire victim Safyre Terry. Kimberly Bradford stole around $1,300 in cash and gift cards. Bradford was charged with four-degree grand larceny. It is possible that Bradford can now face up to four years in prison, but it is not determined yet if she will be going to jail for sure. “I don’t know how anyone can be so cruel and insensitive. I don’t understand why you would steal money from a sweet little girl like Safyre,” said senior at Wayne Hills, Giovanna Minervini.
