Lady Gaga is not what most people would call a “normal” pop star. She is famous for her songs “Poker Face”  and “Bad Romance”. In addition, she was most recently popular for her collaboration with singer, Tony Bennett. She also came out with a new song called “Til It Happens To You”, which is about girls getting raped. The song is also about how Lady Gaga and her friend got raped in college. Gaga has taken on a lot of projects this past year and now, she is taking on her biggest project yet. She sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl 50.

“She is one of my favorite artists and she was amazing,” said Alex Hoff, senior.

Gaga came out wearing an all red sparkly suit. Not only did she sing well, she gave a one of a kind performance. Most people said it was the best super bowl National Anthem performance they have ever heard. Her voice grabbed everyone’s attention around the world that was watching. She put all her energy and soul into this performance like she always does. It was definitely a memorable moment.

“It was my favorite part of the game, her voice is so good,” praised Nicole Wilkins,  senior.
