With Call of Duty’s newest game coming out, many questions still remain unanswered especially about the game even with the hints from the beta. This is the third game of this series published by Treyarch, one of the multiple companies that make video games for the Call of Duty series. The official website offers a detailed description about the game’s setting. “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare.” It comes out November 6.

This year’s game features many new things such as underwater combat, wall running, and specialists. Some previous Call of Duty games had some game play underwater, but nothing like this. In Black Ops 3, combat underwater is just like normal, but only for a limited time. Once you run out of oxygen you have to get to the surface to avoid dying. Players must choose one of nine different black ops specialist`s to be their avatar. Each character brings their own weapons and abilities to the battlefield. These overpowered specialists must be charged up before being used, and add a new aspect to multiplayer. They can become a huge tactical advantage in any game mode.

One question many gamers have is where will the campaign mode begin, right where it left off in Black Ops 2, or skip to the future. Both sides have their pros and cons. Some gamers want to see the return of characters and weapons from the old game, while others want the new, high-tech weapons that would be created if the game skips to the future. One highly anticipated part of Black Ops 3 is the revival of NUK3TOWN. By pre-ordering, this bonus map is unlocked and the beloved map from Black Ops 2 has been modified and made part of Black Ops 3.
