Upcoming Presidential Final Debate

By Ashley Serventi

The final upcoming debate is secluded for Wednesday, October 19th at nine pm eastern time, this will be the third presidential debate being held in the 2016 election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The format of the final third debate will be identical to the first one held on September 26th. The moderators alone will select the questions to be asked, which are not known to the  Continuing Professional Development( CPD) or to the candidates. This will then result in the candidate to take turns answering in an equal speaking time where they will voice their opinions and explain their views and feelings on the questions being asked to their full extent.

The questions that are being asked are in discussion with technology and civic groups that will provide data to the moderators to assist them in identifying the subjects that are most important to the public. The moderators try not to waste any time on things that are minor in the public’s eye, staying on important topics is crucial during the presidential debates. New breaking news about Trump has surfaced all over the media and is now having people wonder if Hillary will take advantage of this news in Wednesday’s debate.

“I think Clinton will defiantly bring that discussion up in the debate and use it against Trump to try and make him look bad,”  says 11th grader Isabella Czekaj when asked if the breaking news will take a toll out of the upcoming debate

The  new release by two women saying Donald Trump touched them inappropriately, it is almost certain that it will be brought up for a question at the upcoming debate. And is currently being talked about on most internet databases, as well as multiple channels on TV. This caused Trump to feel the need to defend himself with the power of social media.

“Nothing ever happened with any of these women. Totally made up nonsense to steal the election. Nobody has more respect for women than me!” says Trump over twitter on October 15th at 2.29 pm.

Media talks about how the majority public hope for a very civil debate that can reach all Americans and will hopefully push them to be involved in the 2016 presidential election, this is especially targeted at new voters who may not be sure yet who they are going to vote for.

” The direction the media is pushing this debate in is going to give new young voters false information and sway them in directions they wouldn’t normally go if twitter and other social media sites were not in the way,” says History teacher Robert Hittinger when asked how the media will effect the new voters.

Everyone’s really excited for the way the final debate will turn out and this debate is most likely to be the most popular one yet.
