“Wayne Hills: Bowling Is Back!”

By Dan Abate

Bowling is back and better than ever! The Patriots look to have another successful year in their efforts to win another county title. Coaches Basilicato and Keogh hope to mold a well-rounded team this year. With some young returning talent, rumors have it there should be some more talent recruited to the squad. “It’s a ton of fun, bowling, I really enjoy competing out there,” mentioned sophomore Matt Klarberg. Last year the bowling team fell short of their goal having a winning percentage just about .200 and finishing the season going 2-10.

It was a rough season too for the girls team. Finishing up the season with an overall record of 1-6, the Patriots need to make a few adjustments. “Practice is key, the more you practice your skills the better player you’ll become,” explained Coach Basilicato.

We will just have to wait and see how it plays out this year, but expect the bowling teams to come out strong this year!
