Should I get the latest iPhone? That’s the question many people as themselves when the new iPhone 15 was released friday September 22nd.
It’s not an inexpensive question since prices range from $829–$1,242. But some think for this price it’s worth it and some are not here for it.
The new iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with up to 29 hours of video playback and with the iPhone 15 Pro coming right behind it with up to 23 hours of video playback which people love. It’s also titanium which makes it light and strong. It comes in a variety of colors including black, blue, yellow, pink and green.
Some would also choose an iPhone over android in an instant. The iPhone itself is easier to use and includes a better range of options including, FaceTime, iMessage games, and iMessage itself. It is known for having better security and privacy which is why it is bought more often than android. Android is still using sms and doesn’t have the best camera out of all smartphones.
“iPhone is infinitely better because it has a more user friendly interface and android just isn’t up to date anymore,” said junior Derek Hernandez. Although iPhone is the option more would choose android is still going to have a good crowd that’s pleased with what they have. Android offers a more comfortable and flexible experience. It gives you the ability to customize your phone better and it gives you more freedom and control.
Some disagree with others and say that the new iPhone isn’t right for them.
“It’s so bad, even though I think iPhones are better because they have better quality and last longer.” said freshman Chelsea Perez. The price goes up more every phone that comes out, just for minor changes and a better camera that older models are perfectly capable of.
According to indiatoday.in there has been an ios 17 bug. This bug glitches the newer phone and if you have an older version phone it may freeze or glitch when updated to ios 17. Although apple did admit that they bug older version iPhones to slow down your software. They do this to protect your phone but it ends up making you buy another one.
The age group for the Smartphones does play a big role in who gets them and who doesn’t. Half of iPhone device owners are between the ages of 18 and 34. But for Android 53% are ages 35-54 years old. Some label android as a phone for older people just because how easy it is to operate and how often older people get them. Yet android is a very good option and certain androids hold good features that are sometimes even better than the iPhone. Though if you’re getting your first smartphone an android is a cheaper and easier route.
Do you think the new iPhone is worth it?
