John Conturso, sophomore patriot press sports editor is a fascinating person. John has been with the club for a total of 2 years since his freshman year. John took journalism freshman year with the fascinating Mrs. Del Moro. John fell in love with writing ever since. John dreams of being a writer as a profession in the future. John doesn't only write though, as he plays basketball and golf. John has been playing basketball since fourth grade. He loves the sport so much. In fact, he plays in the winter, spring, summer, and fall. In other words, John plays 12 months of the year. Golf is a hobby that John is trying to take up because he knows he will need it when he becomes successful. John loves food, and one of his favorite restaurants is his grandmother's house. He loves her food because he knows most of it comes from her garden outside. John will try hard in anything he does and will make sure that he strives for perfection. .
