There are many hot new TV shows this fall that have  people on the edge of their seats! These shows range from season 8 of The Walking Dead to the critically acclaimed season 2 of Stranger Things, and even to season 4 of The Flash.

The Walking Dead season 8 encompasses the war between main characters’ Rick and Negan’s groups. Obviously, main character Rick is still alive after a cliffhanger in season 7, and continues to be the leader of his group. He strives to find new ways to survive as new enemies approach him and his group. And we’re not talking about Walkers!  A lot of TWD fans have been looking forward to watching this Season on AMC as it finally gets the action it deserves.  Antonio Zoino, Senior at Wayne Hills High, says “The Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows and seeing that war finally happening is exciting.”

Stranger Things is a Netflix Original that has gotten a lot of attention ever since the first season went live on the Streaming Service. Season 2 has recently been released and received loads of hype and anticipation. In season 2, Will is dealing with the effects from being in the upside down world. He suffers from PTSD and is seriously traumatized from his terrifying experience. Eleven, another main character in the series, appeared to be dead at the end of season 1, but she is in fact still alive and well. She is trying to find her place in the world. She misses having a mother and a father and is truly lonely in this aspect of her life. Tyler Mirman, Senior, enthusiastically says, “After Season 1, I have been very excited for season 2 to premiere on Netflix!”

The Flash season 4 began in the CW. Main character Barry Allen was forced to stay in the speed force to keep things balanced. He did this in order to protect his friends and family. Eventually Cisco Ramon, another main character, developed a way to get Allen out of the speed force without severe consequences. Initially, Allen was not in a proper state of mind. In reality, he remained in the Speed Force for 6 months to please his friends. However, in the Speed Force, the time equivalent could have actually been many years. Fans have been looking forward to this Season as things are spicing up in the world of The Flash.
