American film executive Harvey Weinstein is in the media for accusations of rape allegations by several different women. Weinstein is now being accused by  a third woman. The latest accusation took place in London, where the woman called him a, “disgraced  Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein”.  London Metropolitan claimed to have received a report from a woman about an attack that took place in 1992 in West London. CNN further claims that the report refers to Weinstein.  Student Ali Redzepi at Wayne Hills High school has heard of this report and proclaimed, “I heard the tapes involving Weinstein and it was very uncomfortable to hear”.

Weinstein does not have the best track record. Not too long ago Weinstein was accused of molesting his own adopted daughter! These allegations started in the 1990’s after Weinstein and Farrow separated. 65 year old Weinstein claims that any sex he has had with these woman was consensual. On a similar note, he continues to deny all charges and Weinstein’s spokes woman Sallie Hofmeister openly stated,”Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein”.

Various American women in the entertainment business have openly and willingly accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other sexual misconduct. The number of women who have accused him continue to grow. A British actress, Lysette Anthony, worked with Weinstein in the film industry. Later, she came out on the Sunday times and openly said in an interview that Weinstein raped her in her London home in the 1980’s. Anthony also explained how much pressure she was under to continue working with him after he supposedly raped her. Aaron Bissondial, senior student at Wayne Hills, claimed, ” I obviously think that this is a horrible thing that went on for so many years, especially with famous Americans who were in the spotlight and widely known around the nation. The person doing this was so unknown and most Americans did not know about Weinstein before just a few weeks ago.”
