President Trump Deletes Tweets Supporting Senator Strange

Have you ever deleted stupid tweets you’ve posted before? I sure have.

On September 26th, there was a primary election in Alabama to vote for a new Senator. Former Senator Luther Strange was running for re-election as the Republican Senator of Alabama. President Donald J. Trump endorsed Luther Strange. However, Strange lost the election to Former Chief Justice Roy Moore.

President Trump decided to delete his tweets relating to Senator Strange when he heard of the outcome. President Trump made a follow up tweet wishing Roy Moore the best of luck in the general election.

Nicholas Sabia, senior and Trump supporter, shared his thoughts by saying “I don’t understand why he would delete the tweets. There’s nothing wrong with showing support.” Stephen Hill, a teacher at Wayne Hills, expressed his feelings on the matter. He says “I would think he would delete those tweets because he does not associate himself with losers. And that’s me speaking as Trump.”

A liberal senior named Sam Marron says, “Trump seems to only like people who win.”

The General Election will be held on December 12th. Roy Moore will be competing for the Senate spot against Democrat Doug Jones.
