The WHHS boys bowling team is wrapping up their season with the title of NJSIAA State Champions.

The Boys bowling team ended in victory in the sectional championships in level North IB, Group 3. Lead players include Steven Neri (644 series), Patrick Mayer (631), Tom Luchetta (602), Nick Kent (597) and Matt Klarberg (589).

The team competed against other schools, directly against Sparta. They ended with a score of 3,063.2 and ranked No. 9 in The Record boys bowling Top 10.

The girls bowling team also competed and ended with a score of 1,772. 10.

“We are a team of beginners. We will look to learn and practice the fundamentals of bowling and focus on consistency and improvement while enjoying the experiences,” says Bruce Keogh, coach of the girls bowling team.

The boys ended their season with a record of 11-4 while the girls ended with a record of 5-9.We look forward to next season!
