Spreading the Good Message

By Hannah Lee, Assistant Senior Editor

It is well known that school and religion don’t go well with each other. However, this new club, called The Christian Club, contradicts all those beliefs. This club adds to the variety of WHHS and represents the open minds of WHHS’ faculty and students.

“I started the Christian club mainly as a place to show God to people at school and talk about Christianity outside of church. It’s easy to keep religion confined inside of a church building but what Christianity is all about is to spread the gospel and show others who God is.”, stated Christine Han, co-founder and senior.

This club consists of activities of fellowship: icebreaker games to get to know one another, discussions about our lives and struggles, and more. As a club, they are here to show that a person doesn’t have to be alone and that their God can spread much love. This club shows that, not only WHHS, but also today’s society has become more accustomed to diversity. Join The Christian Club to have fun, laugh, and share on Thursdays. If interested, please contact Christine Han, senior, or Sophia Jeon, junior.
