This year, the girls have started off on the right foot when it comes to bonding, patience, hard work, and leadership. Christina Giannini and Tessa Peloso are the team’s seniors and captains. They have been on the team for four years now and expressed their feelings on this upcoming season.

“I feel as if we got to a strong start. We are all getting along, motivating each other and have one common goal in mind, to win.” Said Christina Giannini.

The three coaches, head coach Tonianne Piccirillo, and assistant coaches Nicole Couso and Brittany Warther have gotten the girls into shape to making sure they are staying fit, conditioning, and eating healthy. This is a key component to staying energized, especially during the competition season.

The team will be competing in their first competition of the season on January 15th at Wayne Valley. This competition determines if the girls will cheer in Orlando, Florida in March. The national competition is run by “Ameri Cheer”, which will be held at the ESPN World Wide of Sports Center.
