The 67th primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night September 20, 2015 in Los Angeles, brought the top performers , technicians and creators together for a night of celebration and ceremony. TV’s biggest names like Kerry Washington, Taylor Schilling, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Lange, Amy Poehler and many more attend the big night. And with the big night, came a lot of pressure for the stars to look their absolute best when hitting that red carpet. They get one shot to make themselves the one people can’t stop talking about for how absolutely stunning they looked, or for how horrible and awful they looked. However at the Emmy Awards this year, there were several jaw dropping moments for the women and men on how absolutely stunning they looked. The stars really impressed the people this year for their elegant and overall wonderful looks.

Best dressed is something everyone looks forward to the day after a big event like the Emmy’s. And this year is no different. Even though everyone looked stunning there still had to be the top ten best dressed of the night and we have them here for you. Lady Gaga “singer” starred in and elegant long black one – shoulder dress by her long time friend Brandon Maxwell. Kerry Washington in a breathing knee length sparkling dress by Marc Jacobs. Taraji P. Henson is in custom Alexander Wang with Neil Lane diamonds that cost a total of $1,000,000. The lovely Sarah Hyland was seen in a long maroon dress with by Zac Posen and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. In custom Jenny Packham and the shoes are Giuseppe Zanotti is no other than Emma Watson. “We were going for old Hollywood…art deco jewelry, so dripping in diamonds!” Emma Watson says to hollywood reporter. Sara Paulson starring in American Horror story was see in a custom off-the-shoulder Prabal Gurung sequined gown with a Rauwolf bag and custom-dyed Brian Atwood midnight blue pumps. Maggie Gyllenhaal was in a color-blocked Oscar de laRenta by Peter Copping ball gown and Fred Leighton jewels, including a vintage ’70s hammered gold arm cuff. Taylor Schilling who is the star in the show Orange is the new black stood out in canary yellow Stella McCartney with an asymmetrical shoulder and ruffle detail. Claire Danes was see in a  in Prada, while also wearing one of the evening’s hottest accents chains. And our last top ten best dressed for the Emmy’s 2015 are Kiernan Shipka who took a risk by wearing  a daring Dior Haute Couture multicolored embroidered cut-off ball-gown with black wool cigarette pants with the final touches of Christian Louboutin Pumps and Dana Rebecca Designs gemstone earrings.

It’s sad to see that the Emmy Awards 2015 have come and gone. However, this year there was a lot a risk taking and breath taking  moments that we can’t forget. “Each year the fashion on the red carpet for the Emmy’s gets better, and it gets me excited for the next year to come” says Sam Kauffman, a senior. The Emmy Awards are not just about the fashion they are also about acknowledging the actors, writers, and directors that have worked so hard and that have created amazing performances this  past year.
