New Macbook Pro and Microsoft Surface Computers

If you still have a three year old MacBook Pro, don’t worry! Apple has just updated its MacBook Pro with a Touchpad at the top of the keyboard. The MacBook Pro will be in two colors: space gray and silver. The 13-inch will set you back for $1,499. The ports are now standardized USB-C and there is no magsafe power connector. However, it is 27% brighter and 12% lighter than previous MacBook Pros. Thankfully, Apple has decided to let the headphone jack stay as opposed to the iPhone 7 where it was completely gone but everything has to pass through the USB-C port, which may be annoying for people to buy new hardware and components all over again. It may not be the computer that everyone has been expecting or hoping for but it is still a great computer.

Apple rival Microsoft also released a new computer called the Surface Studio. It is a huge computer that can be used upright or can be drawed on like a drafting table. It comes with a Surface Dial that, when pressed on the screen, allows the user to choose among an array of applications and tools such as Adobe CC and Bluebeam. It runs Office and Window perfectly. Prices start at $2,999. It will start shipping in 2017. If for now, you cannot afford it, Microsoft also offers its bestselling Surface Pro series, further blurring the line between tablet and computer. The Surface Pro 4, the most recent addition to the series, costs $899, which is relatively cheap compared to other computers. They are sold as tablets, but the Type Cover is an essential detachable keyboard that can be bought separately.
