This week’s featured teacher is a mid-year addition named Brianne Koribanick. Koribanick describes graduating college and becoming an english teacher at WHHS to be the best thing that has ever happened to her. She has a serious love of literature as it seems reading is her favorite activity, but if she had to choose one book, it would be the classic tale of The Great Gatsby. Although, she also seems to harbor a fondness of Taylor Swift and Batman, where as her favorite album is 1989 Taylor Swift and favorite movie is The Dark Knight Rises.

Speaking of music, Koribanick’s opinion on the tunes of today would be, “much different technologically, lyrically, and in terms of originality.” when compared to music from years ago. But something she can agree will never change is the advice to never judge a book by its cover. Korbanick lists athlete Wayne Gretzky, Joe Namath and writer Truman Capote as people she would invite to a dinner party if she could.. I think it’s safe to say that that would be an interesting evening! And something you should probably know if you have Koribanick this year, is that what really gets her angry is, and I quote, “ my students don’t spend all their free time reading.” So you should probably get started now if you want to get an A! Or you could just surprise her with sushi and green tea ice cream because that’s her favorite meal. And finally, Koribanick’s favorite high school memories consist of prom, graduation, spending time with friends and, of course, english class!
