What’s more stressful than applying to college? Absolutely nothing.

Seniors are currently going through the long process of college applications, each taking weeks to perfect. Seniors spend all their time and money on this application process and for what? So that a college could just reject all your hard work.

There’s more to applying then we know. We are constantly fearing the rejection of colleges. But of course, there is also the possibility of being accepted. The best feeling in the world is getting accepted into the colleges we couldn’t imagine getting into.

So this is why we try. This is why we put in all the hard work: to get into these colleges. Being able to say that “I made it”, I was successful and I got into the college of my dreams.

“What better feeling is it then knowing you have achieved something in life that you never knew you could achieve,” said senior Marisa Scialla. “Don’t be afraid to apply to college, you never know what the future may hold.”

In the end it all pays off.

Everyone has figured out their path that they are going to take. All of the stress and anxiety that we all go through is finally over. We have been accepted, we have been denied, we have been waitlisted, we have been deferred, but that’s over.
