Captain America: Civil War Review
May 18, 2016
Love Marvel movies? Well, the third installment of the Captain America movie series starring Chris Evans came out on May 6th.
In this movie, there are so many cameos that it almost seemed like an Avengers movie. This movie includes famed heroes such as War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Falcon, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, and of course the main characters, Captain America and Iron Man.
“I thought that the movie was action packed and suspenseful, constantly seeming to surprise me,” said sophomore Andrew Gutman.
The movie’s special effects, acting, and the plot line were exceptional. The addition of humor also made the movie very enjoyable.
“It made me cling onto the edge of my seat, it was action filled, very comedic, and overall just awesome!” said sophomore Eric Miller.
The only part of the movie that may have disappointed fans was the lack of a menacing antagonist. The antagonist in Captain America: Civil War is Helmut Zemo who does not seem to strike much fear into the viewers as past villains have because he doesn’t possess any skill or ability that makes him dangerous.
Overall, I’d rate this movie a 4.5 out of 5. What did you think about Captain America: Civil War? What parts of it did you like or not like?
