Wayne Evening with the Arts

By Alyssa Robbins, Staff Writer

WHHS recently hosted the annual Evening with the Arts. It was hosted by the Tri M Music Honor Society. There were students from all over the district showing off their amazing talents. Students from the elementary schools came all the way to the high schools performing with bands, ensembles, choirs, and winter guards with art on display. Everyone who went had an amazing time seeing all of the students come together and perform their music or showcase their art.

The performers had fun letting everyone see their hard work and dedication pay off. One sophomore, Trevor Brooks, who performed in the WHHS winter guard said, “it was spectacular to see all of the artistic talents uniting under one event. It’s a prideful moment for the arts at Wayne Hills.”

Along with enjoying this wonderful event, attendees were able to donate to a scholarship which is given to a Wayne Hills senior involved in the arts and music.

Overall the evening went just as planned, if not better. Everyone had fun and they cannot wait for next year’s Evening with the Arts. Good job to everyone who performed!
