AP Exams Are Here!

By Briana Baldanza

AP testing is quickly approaching! The AP exams, which are rigorous, multiple component tests, will be administered here at Wayne Hills and across the country to other high schools this May. These tests are very important because they allow high school students to receive both college placement and or college credit for qualifying AP scores. And who doesn’t love saving hundreds of dollars on college courses?  In order to be enrolled in an AP course, a student must display hardworking characteristics and be recommended by a teacher.  Courses that will be testing this spring include:

AP Art History

AP Biology

AP Calculus AB

AP Calculus BC

AP Computer Science A

AP Chemistry

AP English 12

 AP Environmental Science

AP European History

AP Human Geography

AP Language & Composition

AP Music Theory

AP Physics 1

AP Physics 2

AP Physics C

AP Psychology

AP Spanish Language

AP Statistics

AP Studio Art

AP U.S. Government & Politics

AP U.S. History

“I am definitely going to start preparing for them over spring break,”says junior Michelle Lee who is taking the AP Calculus AB, U.S History and Biology exams. “I plan to review study guides and material that was taught up until now. I am very nervous for these tests because I do not know what to expect and I want to do well.”  Testing begins on May 2nd with AP Chemistry and finishes on May 13th with AP Latin. A full schedule of the tests is as follows:
